Friday Night Live is officially announcing that auditions for the 2020-21 Season will be held on September 9th! FNL will be participating in Dobson Drama’s series of virtual productions that will be released online right here on the Dobson Drama site.
About FNL
Friday Night Live is a sketch comedy group that was started in 2003 by Chris Littler. FNL is unique because it is 100% student-run. Students write sketches, direct scenes, and create the concepts that they want to see. Each year, a student director is chosen to run FNL with consideration to casting, rehearsing, and producing. The director, and fearless leader, for the 2020-21 Season is none other than Jessie Williams.
Auditions
We will be holding virtual auditions for all interested students by September 9th, 2020. If you are interested in auditioning for Friday Night Live or any of Dobson Drama’s future productions this season, we ask that you please fill out the Audition Form linked below. Then look out for an email with instructions on how to join our Dobson Drama Club Slack to receive updates on auditions, rehearsals, and all things Dobson Drama!
On September 9th, a Zoom meeting will be held for all those interested in auditioning. You will need to prepare and record a 90 second comedic monologue that you will submit to a Google Form posted in slack. Have the monologue ready and recorded by the 11th.
