It’s about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice… or take a stand… or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make.

Dobson Drama is very excited to share our filmed production of Songs for a New World with family, friends, and our Dobson Community! We intend to make this production available as both an in-person screening as well as a virtual streaming. Those who donate $10 will be sent a link as well as 1 screening ticket. We hope that you enjoy our production! More information to come soon.

Screening

We will be holding our screening at the Dobson Auditorium on May 5th at 7:00 PM! Your $10 donation helps us to continue to produce high quality productions next season! You can make your donation using the button below, or at the door!

At the screening, social distancing will be enforced, with 6 foot spacing between groups. As such, we can accommodate groups of no more than 6 people. Your seating may be assigned for you. Masks will also be strongly encouraged.

Streaming

Our production will also be available to stream via YouTube Live on May 12th at 7:00 PM. If you’re interested in streaming this production, please make a $10 donation using the button below! You can expect that a link will be sent to you prior to the stream. The runtime of this production is about 45 minutes.
